Actor and TV presenter Arnold Schwarzenegger has announced that he is resigning from his job hosting reality TV show The Apprentice, in order to ‘travel back in time and stop Donald Trump’. Schwarzenegger made the announcement at an LA press conference, where he claimed that he had been inspired by his role in the hit 1984 movie The Terminator.
Schwarzenegger explained that he has created a ‘working time machine’ in his garage, based ‘exactly’ on the one portrayed in the 1985 film Back to the Future. He admitted he hadn’t got it to work yet, but as it ‘worked so well’ in the movie he is confident he will do so. The press conference ended with Schwarzenegger assuring the assembled journalists that ‘I’ll be back’.
Friends of Schwarzenegger have revealed that his plan is to travel back to the Scottish Outer Hebrides around the year 1928, in order to stop Trump’s mother Mary MacLeod leaving for America. In order to do so he will work through a complete list of people named ‘Mary MacLeod’ living in the region at the time, taking them out one-by-one. If this fails Trump plans to travel back in time again to the late 1940’s, in order to target Trump himself whilst he is still a young child.
It’s been reported that the United States Secret Service is aware of Schwarzenegger’s plan, and intends to send one of its own agents, New Jersey governor Chris Christie, back in time in order to stop him.
